Location

PARKING:
Because of the high tariff on parking, we advise against driving to the hotel. If you’re parking in front of the hotel, we suggest getting a 10-minute ticket while you check-in. Cars are frequently checked for valid tickets and fines can be in excess of €130. Please be aware to pay for parking on weekdays from 7am until midnight, Sundays from 12pm – 12am.
Please be aware, public parking in front of the hotel is not owned by The Toren and we are not able to reserve a parking spaces. Generally, parking spaces are available within a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Tickets are only available from the parking automats and you will need to pay via credit or Maestro card.

Parking your car in a garage within 10 minutes walking distance:
There are also several parking garages in Amsterdam close to the hotel. The costs of the parking garage are the equal to parking in the street in the city centre. You are able to drop off your luggage first at any time and then we can point out the directions for you to the nearest parking garage.
Parking your car in the parking garage ‘IJdock’ which is only a 17 minute walk from the hotel. This parking garage is located under the Palace of Justice and the costs are €25, per 24 hours.
The Toren is easily accessible by all means of transportation and conveniently located near Amsterdam Central Station. Parking in Amsterdam is expensive, and we’d suggest guests avoid driving to the hotel. Please contact us for help arranging private transfers from the airport.
BY CAR
The route description from the Ring (A10) Amsterdam is as follows:
Follow the signs to Amsterdam and on the Ring Amsterdam A10, take exit S 105. Follow the Centrum signs until you reach the Rozengracht.
Stay on this road until you see the Westerchurch on your left-hand side.
Pass the Westerchurch, pass the bridge and keep left.
You are now on the Keizersgracht. The hotel is on the other side of the canal (look for the black awnings), Turn left over the second bridge, then turn left again and continue to number 164.
BY TRAIN:
From Schiphol Airport, trains run every few minutes to Amsterdam Central Station.
Exit Central Station (CS) and keep right. Take tram 13 or 17 (direction Geuzenveld / Osdorp Dijkgraafsplein) and get off at the third stop, Westermarkt. The hotel is a two-minute walk from here (click here for directions)

BY TAXI:
If you are travelling with groups of three or more, or have a lot of luggage, we advise taking a taxi.
Please note: Only ever hail one from the official taxi stand. The taxi will cost approximately 50 euros, depending on the time of day, traffic conditions and amount of luggage. Taxis in Amsterdam should run on-meter, but we advise guests to ask the average price beforehand to ensure it is within the range.
