Suwat (Gianyar): a short stroll through the bamboo forest will take you to this hidden gem featuring a natural pool complete with its own bamboo raft.
Tukad Cepung (Bangli): follow the steep steps and you will be rewarded with Bali’s most scenic waterfall, guarded by high cliffs.
Leke Leke (Tabanan): take a nature walk to this tropical jungle fall amidst a calm and refreshing oasis.
Kanto Lampo (Gianyar): scenic waterfall best explored in dry season, with water cascading down a tiered rock formation.
Aling Aling (Buleleng): a collection of stunning waterfalls that are a true adventure seeker’s heaven, with activities including natural slides and cliff jumping.
Sunrise at Mount Batur
Mount Batur is an active volcano considered sacred by the Balinese people with its summit at 1,717 m above the east coast of the island. For picture-perfect panoramas, we recommend the trek at sunrise; brace yourself for a steep ascent but be rewarded with incredible caldera views and the feeling of being on top of the world.
The Wild East
Your day starts off with a visit to the mystic cave temple of Goa Lawah, populated by thousands of bats, before reaching Tenganan Village, home to Bali’s indigenous people. The Bali Aga still follow a traditional rural lifestyle, unchanged by the passing of time, and cherish their unique traditions and heritage.
After lunch, make your way to the water gardens of Tirta Gangga. The royal palace is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by lush gardens filled with carvings and statues. Your way back to The Pavilions will take you through traditional snake fruit plantations and the terraced hills of the Sidemen valley.
Underwater Love
Bali is an underwater paradise waiting to be explored for snorkelers and scuba divers of all levels, with an exceptionally rich marine life. Located at the heart of the Coral Triangle, the warm waters around the island are abundant with sharks, turtles and a kaleidoscopic range of tropical fish.
Blue Lagoon is perfect for snorkeling, with its own coral reef just off the small beach. Amed & Tulamben have a wealth of sites including coral gardens, wall dives and renowned wreck diving. Experienced divers will enjoy spectacular sites with drop-off walls, drift diving and wildlife sightings around Nusa Penida.
