From the foothill of the Ao Nang mountains via the lush forest to the crystal clear water and Lava stone pool The Pavilions Anana Krabi have added to the farm to fork ecological experience, Wolfie‘s (Wolfgang Grimm) first harvest of organic mushrooms on 26 January 2022 in the presence of his wife Au.
He recalls with gratitude Shakespeare’s wisdom phrase “Why then the world’s mine oyster” – meaning to have the opportunity to do anything one’s heart desires like supporting sustainable tourism in Thailand in concert with Skal International, the worlds largest tourism body.
Oyster mushrooms are a popular and linked to several health benefits. In addition to being nutritious, they may promote heart and immune system health, encourage healthy blood sugar control, and provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. The greatest benefit, however is the culinary enhancement they provide to soups, stews, pastas, salads and omelettes.
Perfectly in time for the 1 February 2022 soft opening of the 20 brand new Anana Pool Access Suites, when guests will be able to harvest their choice of mushrooms and select a personal dish guided by the chef of BOTANICA, the resorts new Restaurant.
