Observing Elephants in Phuket's Natural Habitat
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket
Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket accepts a limited number of visitors at regular hours, twice per day, to ensure elephants do not become overwhelmed and the staff is able to supervise visitor-elephant interactions.
It allows visitors to feed, walk and hang out with elephants as they play, bathe and massage themselves by rubbing against trees. Elephants have time for themselves before, after, and between visitor groups. The half-day experience includes a vegetarian lunch and lots of interaction with elephants as they forage for food and splash about in the sanctuary's natural lagoon.
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary claims to have pioneered ethical elephant tourism on the island and is billed as the island's premier retirement home for sick, old, injured or tired elephants who were previously abused or worked for entertainment. Visitors are invited to feed, walk with, and observe rescued elephants as they roam throughout the sanctuary as they would in the wild.
The Phuket Elephant Sanctuary predicts the experience can 'transform your world' after visiting the tranquillity of sanctuary life amidst a beautiful forest bordering the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park.

All are frequently caught in Phuket and its surrounding waters, and the fishing community's firm catch-and-release policy helps ensure sustainability for future generations. The fishing season runs throughout the year here.

World-Class Golf Experience
Phuket is home to many excellent international quality golf courses, all of which have been designed to take full advantage of the island's tropical climate and undulating topography. Many players come solely for a round or two and experience the beautiful landscape courses, which make abundance use of water resources to create challenging hazards and out-of-bounds tree lines to full effect. Standard is high, ensuring that the greens are verdant, and the holes are challenging enough for beginners and experienced players alike. Many courses have hosted regional and international tournaments on both the men's and women's professional tours - a credit to their championship pedigree.
ATV Off-road Adventure
The versatile ATV all-terrain vehicle, also known as a 'quad bike', is tailor-made for big Phuket fun. It travels on low-pressure tires, with the operator straddling the seat, while manoeuvring over and around obstacles using handlebars for steering control. As the name implies, it is designed to handle a wider variety of terrain than most other vehicles.
