There is an impressive number of alluring islands neighbouring Phuket and the Andaman Sea. These islands are a perfect tropical getaway to escape crowds and enjoy an adventurous and exotic day. From the many islets around Phuket, the most favoured is Koh Phi Phi Island.

Koh Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi has it all - stunning beaches fronted with dense jungle, Thai and international restaurants offering traditional Thai cuisine, private hotels and residences, vibrant nightlife or laid-back atmosphere during the day. The most famous part of Koh Phi Phi is Maya Bay, with a beach that appeared in 'The Beach', the 2000 blockbuster movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio.

Koh Similan

Koh Similan group of islands is known and praised mostly for the wonders that are hidden below the surface of the crystal clear waters surrounding it. It is considered to be one of the 10 most intriguing diving areas in the world, offering perfect condition for coral reefs that are formed from over 200 species of hard coral. The Similan waters provide more marine life and bottom topography variety than most other dive destinations on the planet.

Racha Island

Racha Island, also known as Raya Island, is similar to the Similan Islands and famous for its excellent diving and snorkelling opportunities. Beautiful white sand and a long 'U shaped' central bay welcome travellers to the island. Racha has several bungalows and resorts, and ideal for a two-day trip.

Coral Island

Coral Island, or - as locals call it - Koh Hae, is a ravishing island situated only three kilometres away from Phuket. With two beautiful beaches, Long Beach and Banana Beach, it is a popular tourist destination. It received its name from the impressive coral reef that surrounds the area of Banana Beach and offers an exceptional snorkelling environment.

Koh Yao Yai & Koh Yao Noi

Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi are two large islands located in the centre of Phang Nga Bay. In 2002, Koh Yao Noi received the World Legacy Award in the Destination Stewardship from Conservation International and National Geographic magazine for the environmentally friendly homestay programs offered by locals.
