Shopping

Around Phuket, many large-scale shopping malls are offering a broad range of entertainment, from shopping to the cinema with the latest movies. There are two main shopping malls in Phuket, Jungceylon Shopping Mall located in Patong with over 200 shops, five room cinema, gaming arcade and sixteen-lane bowling alley, and Central Festival, located close to Phuket town and features many international fashion brands, food courts and more.

Other

Other popular attractions in Phuket fit for a rainy day is Thai boxing matches in Patong, organised every Monday, Thursday and Saturday night, featuring professional fighters from Thailand as well as abroad. For families, another ideal activity is visiting Baan Teelanka, also called the upside-down house, the most original attraction on the Phuket Island. For evening entertainment, the Simon Cabaret show features glamorous costumes and stunning background sets. Alternatively, Siam Niramit is a cultural extravaganza, showcasing Thai arts, history and culture.
