Website Development: Manage external developers to

  • Continually improve all hotel websites
  • Implement new designs submitted by external agencies
  • Help in house marketing teams with CMS enhancements
  • Run A/B tests and suggest improvements to increase booking conversion ratios
  • Set up new websites for new hotels within the group

Booking Engine: 

  • Help revenue teams make technical changes and improvements to the booking engine (SynXis) and manage HTML/CSS/JS templates for the group. 
  • Monitor and analyse booking engine conversion ratios and propose enhancements
  • Help properties liaise with the Booking Engine providers when technical issues arise

SEO: Work with external agency to implement SEO recommendations including

  • Writing/Amending SEO specific copy and create new landing pages where needed
  • Making technical enhancements to the website
  • Monitoring Google search console for missed opportunities and taking action where needed


  • Monitor performance of external SEM agencies
  • Propose campaigns / budget revisions
  • Manage affiliate marketing programs

Property Systems Management:

  • Act as the liaison between the group and all third-party systems used by the Group.
  • Manage user access to systems (and ensure that teams are using systems correctly)
  • Monitor performance of all systems and assess against financial cost
  • Review new systems and technologies that might be of interest to the group
  • Put in procedures / code in order to link new systems so that they can be used to their full potential

Server Management:

  • Manage various external servers used by the group (websites and liaison servers)

  • Ensure backups taken/act as point of contact when issues arise


  • Prepare monthly reports on website performance and conversion for the hotels/management teams

Key Skills / Experience :

  • Full-Stack developer preferred (LAMP, CSS, Javascript, Jquery – Angular a plus) with experience of ecommerce open-source systems using MVC.
  • Experience (from a technical perspective) with booking engines (SynXis preferred), channel managers and Property Management Systems
  • Comfortable using Google analytics and Google AdWords Dashboards
  • Strong google sheets and MS Excel skills (to VBA level)
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese or European languages a plus
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and strong organizational skills
  • Graphic design skills with basic knowledge of Photoshop a plus
  • Financial acumen, market and budgetary analysis capabilities are required
